Venue Location and Parking

The Lost and Sound Festival takes place on the ground of the Lost Villages Brewery located at 16133 County Road 36, Long Sault Ontario K0C 1P0.

Parking will be available on a first come first serve basis for a cost of $15. Attendants will be able to take cash or card for payment. Once the vehicle leaves the parking area the permit is revoked.

Stages and Seating

Music will alternate between the Mille Roches and Moulinette Stages (Refer to site map above). Music begins at 4:00pm on Friday and 12:00pm on Saturday. Festival grounds open 30 minutes prior to first performance.

A limited number of seats will be located under tents and scattered around the venue. You are permitted to bring folding chairs inside the venue.
 

Gate and Ticket Information

Ticket holders must present their ticket at the gate in exchange for a bracelet which allows in/out privileges for the entire event. Tickets are sent by email and can be printed, or presented on a mobile device.

​Weekend passes are non transferrable. ​

​

Ticket holders may be required to produce Identification to prove legal drinking age. Those without ID and those who are under the legal drinking age will be required to wear a bracelet to prove age verification. Only those who have proved legal drinking age will be allowed to purchase drink tokens and be served at the bar.

The gate will open at 3:30pm on Friday at 11:30am on Saturday. On both evenings, no reentry allowed after 11:00pm.

Drink Tokens and Bar - Intoxication

Drink tokens can be purchased from the drink token booth for a cost of $9.00. These tokens can be exchanged at the bar for a drink. 

Last call for alcohol will be 10:45pm. No drinks will be served after 11:00pm.

All patrons must exit the property no later than 12:00am.

Friendly Disclaimer regarding intoxication
We the event organizers wish everyone to have a fun and safe experience at the festival. That said, we will not tolerate excessive drinking to the point of intoxication. Please be respectful and drink responsibly.  Bartenders can at any point cut off any patron who is deemed to be intoxicated. Spotters will be in the crowd looking for those who are intoxicated and may also cut off patrons if required. If someone who has been cut off by the event organizers is seen to have been given a drink from another patron, both persons will be asked to leave the premises. Onsite security may also be involved if the situation escalates. OPP have also been notified of the event and are prepared to respond to any situation that requires this level of escalation.


OPP Presence
The OPP will have a presence both inside and outside the venue. Please do not attempt to drink and drive as officers will be watching for this.
 

Hotels and Shuttle Information

The Lost and Sound Festival has partnered with the Ramada in to provide preferred rates to our ticketholders during the festival.

​

If you book before August 18th you will receive a preferred rate of $164 per night. Please call 933-8000 x 0 and refer to the Lost and Sound Festival to book.

Shuttle service will be provided by See-Way More to and from the festival and Cornwall.

Please do not bring:

  • Food

  • Liquids

  • Alcohol

  • Cannabis (zero tolerance - will be removed if found)

  • Weapons

  • Bottles

  • Large bags (not clear)

Accessibility

 For your convenience we will attempt to accommodate accessibility requirements. There is an accessible washroom located inside the taproom. The taproom will be roped off for VIP patrons and those who have an accessibility bracelet. To obtain an accesibilty bracelet, please email us through the contact section of the website. Event coordinators will reach out to you with additional information.

VIP Venue Access

The taproom will be limited access to those wearing VIP bracelets. VIP bracelets can be obtained by purchasing a Sponshorship package. Details can be found in the sponsorship page of this website.

Vendor Village

The Vendor Village will operate Friday from 3:30-8:00pm and Saturday 12:00pm-8:00pm. Items purchased in the vendor village are a direct sale between the vendor and the patron. Most vendors will take cash or card an will offer a bag to hold your items in.

Emergency

In the case of an emergency, the Fire Department of South Stormont will have a first aid booth located at the south end of the property. The Fire fighters in attendance are trained to respond to medical emergencies and can contact an ambulance if needed. 

​

If you have trouble finding the first aid booth, please find any volunteer wearing a green shirt and they can direct you.

​

Please do not hesitate to call 911 immediately if you have an emergency.

Festival Merchandise

Festival Merchandise will be available for purchase near the token booth. Hats and shirts cost $35 tax in. We accept card only for merchandise.

Weather & Refunds

The festival will run rain or shine. We have will have tents to provide cover and you are welcome to bring an umbrella and rain gear if the weather does not cooperate.

If the weather is extreme, we may cancel the festival and issue a 50% refund on tickets. This may increase depending on the total accumulated loss. We will attempt to return a full refund if possible, or the ability to defer the ticket until next year.

Refund:
A refund may be requested at any point up until August 21st for a 75% refund. 

Resale of tickets:
You may resell your ticket without notifying us. Simply complete the sale and send the purchaser the QR code which can be redeemed at the gate.

 

Potable Water

Culligan has donated portable water filling stations and filtered drinking water for this event. You may bring an empty water bottle into the venue, but you may be asked to show that it is empty at the gate. If the bottle has liquid, you will be asked to pour it our before entering the venue.
